Yuezhu (Sarah) Lang

Sarah Lang is currently a senior at Wakefield School in The Plains, Virginia. She is an international student from Beijing, China. She will be attending Northeastern University in the Fall of 2020 and hopes to pursue Finance + Computer Science combined major. Sarah was drawn to the topic of China's Belt and Road Initiative with a focus on Southeast Asia because of a family road trip along the Silk Road and the "Asia in the 21st Century" YYGS summer program. Sarah has a interest in business and international relations, and therefore the thesis focuses on the economic aspect of the impact, bringing in a tangential analysis of the trade war.
